Have you ever wondered what your dog is thinking? Now is the time to find out. For the first time, you can take an online course that will dive deep in to what dogs are capable of, what limits them, and what they can tell us about ourselves. The course Dog Emotion and Cognition will be led by Dr. Brian Hare, Director of the Duke Canine Cognition Center. There will be both a certificate and a non certificate version of the course.
For almost a hundred years, dogs were ignored by science as being unremarkable, but it turns out that dogs are probably one of the most important species we can study. From domestication (how did the big bad wolf turn into a dog) to human evolution (could what happened to dogs have happened to us?), dogs are fast becoming front runners in psychology, anthropology, and neuroscience.
We have learned more about dogs in the last decade than we have in the last century. Sign up now and find out what the latest in cognitive science has to say about how you live, love and train your dog. Best of all, you and your dog can play fun games throughout the course to find out the genius in your dog.
